Inspect regularly

Check the medal, attachment ring, collar connection, and QR surface regularly. Replace or stop using damaged attachment hardware.

Cleaning

Clean gently with a soft damp cloth and mild soap when needed, then dry completely. Avoid abrasive scrubbing and harsh solvents.

Heat and chemicals

Avoid prolonged exposure to excessive heat, strong chemicals, harsh cleaners, and conditions that may deform or degrade the medal.

Chewing and impact

Do not allow the pet to chew the medal. Severe impact, repeated biting, or crushing can damage the physical product or make it unsafe.

Check QR readability

Periodically scan the QR code with a normal phone camera to confirm that it remains readable and opens the expected SmartTapply link.

Pet safety

Choose an attachment method appropriate for the pet’s size and collar. Stop using the medal if its physical condition could scratch, cut, snag, or otherwise injure the pet.
